The Nevada DMV is changing the way people get driver’s licenses. Now, residents can take their written tests online to get instruction permits or non-commercial Class C driver’s licenses. This means you can study and take the test from home.

To do this, you’ll need a computer with a camera. You can take the test in English or Spanish. After you finish, you’ll see your score right away, along with what to do next if you pass. But remember, you can’t take the test online and then take it again in person on the same day.

The online test costs $6.75, and you have 60 minutes to finish it. You can’t take the test on your phone or tablet for now.

This change makes getting a driver’s license more convenient. It also reduces the need to visit the DMV in person. So, if you’re in Nevada and want to start driving, the DMV has made it easier than ever to take the first step.
