The California Highway Patrol has temporarily shut down both lanes of the I-15 near the California-Nevada border due to strong gusts of wind.
This closure will begin at Nipton Road and extend to the Nevada Stateline.
Officials suggest that drivers consider taking the alternate NV-95 route accessible from the Nipton Road exit.
The roads are anticipated to reopen at 5 p.m.
