The affected period for these shipments spanned from June 1 through September 21, 2023.

The range of recalled items is extensive and includes cold medicine, pain relievers, mouthwash, moisturizer, vitamins, and more. These products were distributed across 23 states between June 1 and October 4, 2023. Fortunately, as of now, there have been no reported consumer complaints or instances of illness related to this voluntary recall.

In a statement issued by Family Dollar, the company emphasized that the recall was initiated “out of an abundance of caution.” Despite the absence of reported issues, the company is taking proactive measures to ensure consumer safety. Family Dollar has urged its affected stores to immediately check their stock, quarantine any affected products, and discontinue their sale.

Customers who have purchased any of the recalled items are advised to return them to the place of purchase without requiring a receipt, where they will be eligible for a refund.
