The Nye County Sheriff’s Office has reported that they are investigating a recent social media threat against a school scheduled to take place on May 10th. However, following an investigation, they have determined that the source of the threat was located outside of Nevada and was directed at a school in Clark County. They have deemed the threat to be non-credible but will have an increased presence around Nye County schools as a precaution. The Clark County School District Police Department has also confirmed their awareness of the social media threat and has warned of an increased police presence in schools in the coming days.
